Fluid lines and exquisite detail
are the trademark of Mark Kennedy's sculpting.
While his figurative sculptures portray moods of strength
and natural human poise captured in a single moment, Kennedy's aesthetic sensibility
also shines out from his recent
less classical and realistic workss.

A large sailing boat is reduced to its simplest form
using billowing/curving lines
in contrasting bronze and steel,
whilst a massive egg fills the mind
with metaphysical questions
of beginnings and origin.
