Demonstrating some of the finest level of sculptural work we have had the pleasure to cast, this astonishing bronze depicts Marcel Duchamp’s Mona Lisa postcard, on which Duchamp drew a moustache and goatee. Bronze Age had the pleasure of working with Mr Douglas Jennings in fulfilling this commission. With the help of laser scanning and CNC machining a 4’ original clay was scaled up to 9’ as well as down to 9” and 27” in height. The 4’ high bronze casting was exhibited at Hauser & Wirth in London in October 2009 and we understand that more exhibitions will follow of the varying sizes in the UK, and the Pompidou Centre in Paris.
